Roel Wouters and Luna Maurer (both formerly studio Moniker) talk about their transformation of their practices from being digital pioneers and internet enthusiasts to more critical approaches towards digital environments. Recently, they have taken an interest in what they call ‘designing friction, or in their own words: ‘In which ways can we use technology in order to have more qualities that make us human, and emphasize those?’.
